CIRCUS
From September 19, 2026 to March 7, 2027, at Frac Centre - Les Turbulences : CIRCUS (art contemporain).
The « CIRCUS » project presents a film and photographs of the Cirque Calder, circus and fairground architectures by Patrick Bouchain from the Frac Centre-Val de Loire collection, a typographic journey by Fanette Mellier, a sober and joyful set design by Morgan Fortems, and finally a shared dance by the Collectif ÈS. « CIRCUS » is an associated event of the « AR(t]CHIPEL – Calder au cœur de la France » project, taking place in fifteen locations across the region and organized by the Région Centre-Val de Loire, in partnership with the Centre Pompidou. Conceived as a space for dialogue between disciplines, the exhibition considers the circus less as a theme than as a way of doing: building together, setting forms in motion, playing with balance, space and perspective.
