For its first exhibition of the season, Théâtre-Sénart pays tribute to metamorphosis through three photographic series: Butterfly Wings by Chris Perani, Diamonds are forever by Jean Rault and Interlope, Histoires de colère by Théo Martin. The latter consists of 13 photographs by Théo Martin in which the figures of the Parisian cabaret Monsieur K., Patachtouille or the Baronne du Bronx are immortalized in a world saturated with color - to reveal a truth “too often silenced” and finally become visible. Théo Martin: "I imagined these nights, of a Paris that had been described to me. I imagined an accordion, a piano, revelry, so many voices rising, indiscipline. First, the shock, then the delight. I imagined colors in the gloom, made-up faces, drawn, exaggerated. I imagined perhaps some anxiety. People who allow themselves, who express themselves."
