Fusées draws inspiration from humans who, obsessed by their passion, want to possess the universe at any cost. In Jeanne Candel's musical theatre, two men drift through the cosmos: one gives in to melancholy, the other revels in his power. From this contrast emerges a comic duo. Between them, a woman moves about, a conduit for voices - scientists, children fascinated by space, the spaceship's computer. Conceived as a burlesque and poetic fable, Fusées tells of our obsession with going into space. There are no screens or technology; the show prefers the artisanal strings of theatre, a few props, the actors' bodies, and a 'box of poetry'. The music is played in weightlessness: an upside-down piano, popular songs, classical and melancholic airs compose a strange 'ghost music'.
