European Heritage Days - the museum of gesture. From 2023 to 2026, the company L'aéronef worked across the Mirecourt Dompaire community of municipalities with one goal: to create a museum of gesture. Over those 3 years, choreographer and dancer Anne Marion met residents to collect, observe, choreograph and film their gestures. These gestures fed numerous creations that the public discovered along the way. On May 16, 2026, the company presented its final work: the Museum of Gesture. A living, participatory and ephemeral museum summing up 3 years of artistic residency around gesture, made of danced tableaux, sound objects and videos. This year, the European Heritage Days highlight fragile heritage. A fine opportunity to (re)discover the Museum of Gesture by the company L'aéronef through the film made by Émilie Salquèbre and Valentin Bergiron and the drawings of Leïla Thiriet.
