This is the sixth edition of Noire Montagne, the third in Caunes-Minervois, and it is exceptional. It links two art schools: La Fabrique des arts and École des Métiers Fribourg, three exhibition venues: Fribourg from January 8 to February 28, 2026, Caunes-Minervois from June 5 to September 30, 2026, and Catania from April 2, 2027, to May 2, 2027. It will present the work of eleven painters from five countries: Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, and Poland. In addition, the work of the Swiss painter Clélia Dumas will be on display at the abbey in Caunes-Minervois during the summer. She was selected by the jury to undertake a residency in Caunes in April and May. The theme of the 2026 edition is 'La Mission de l'artiste – Dialogues contemporains avec Ferdinand Hodler'.
