Tenter l’art pour soigner - At the Blida-Joinville Psychiatric Hospital in the 1960s

In 2021, the museum of the Institut du monde arabe received a generous donation: a collection of archives, painted ceramics, and numerous gouache plates created in the late 1960s during sociotherapy workshops at the Blida-Joinville psychiatric hospital (HPB), an Algerian institution shaped by the iconic figure of Frantz Fanon.
