Text and direction by Olivia Csiky Trnka. Portrait of an elderly woman as an ancient deity. An Olympia of the third age muses, a sculptural queen, on her velvet divan. As she waits for her granddaughter who never comes, this old woman, as funny as she is cruel, settles her accounts with the past and gives free rein to her thoughts. Laurence Mayor shines in this tragicomic role that hints at the fate of the elderly in our societies. Like a consolation ritual, this brilliant monologue faces death head-on. Co-hosted with Les Zébrures, Festival of Francophone theatrical writings and creations.
