“I exist in a vaporous state. I really am suspended glitter.” It is from this feeling of floating that Benoît Piéron conceived Vernis à ombres. Drawing on his hospital experience and living alongside illness, the French artist creates alternative representations of spaces, bodies, and their associated emotions.
