Guided tour of the exhibition: Soleil rose, orange, rouge

From September 19, 2026 to September 20, 2026, at Musée Eugène Boudin : Guided tour of the exhibition: Soleil rose, orange, rouge (peinture).

150 years after Claude Monet, the residency program of the Festival Normandie Impressionniste at the Ferme Saint-Siméon in Honfleur continues to question the beauty of the landscape. As a historic site that once hosted Monet, Courbet, Sisley, Corot, or Boudin, the farm becomes a creative space for contemporary artists. Julien des Monstiers develops a body of work there that focuses on material, textures, and color layers between figuration and abstraction. His paintings invite careful observation of light, colors, and forms. After immersing himself in the maritime landscape, he presents a residency exhibition in dialogue with the history of the place at the Musée Eugène Boudin in Honfleur. In partnership with the Ferme Saint-Siméon. With the support of the Galerie Christophe Gaillard.
