Born from the free and committed perspective of Cérès Franco, the collection was built outside traditional circuits before becoming a shared heritage. Established in Montolieu since 2015, the Coopérative-Musée Cérès Franco now brings to life over 1,700 works in a spirit of openness, transmission, and discovery accessible to all. Supported by région Occitanie, the department of Aude, Carcassonne Agglo, the commune of Montolieu, and the AVCCF, and labelled Musée de France in 2025, the museum promotes a lively and generous vision of art at the heart of a rural area.
