Born from the free and committed gaze of Cérès Franco, the collection was built outside traditional circuits before becoming a shared heritage. Based in Montolieu since 2015, the Coopérative-Musée Cérès Franco today brings to life over 1,700 works in a spirit of openness, transmission, and discovery accessible to all. Supported by région Occitanie, the department of l’Aude, Carcassonne Agglo, the commune of Montolieu, and the AVCCF, and labeled Musée de France in 2025, the museum advocates a living and generous vision of art at the heart of a rural area.
